Voicemail is a voice message that a caller leaves when the person they are trying to call is absent or is busy with another conversation. You can think of voicemail as some kind of email but instead of keeping text messages sent from your contacts, they keep voice messages which could be exactly what you need when you are a very busy person.

Although some people think that voicemail is outdated and going out of style, it is still worth noting that it has some nice features that could easily change your mind about using it. For instance, not only can you record and play sounds back, but you can also:

  • Present different greetings to different users
  • Transfer and save voice messages to storage media like a hard drive, which can also be sent as an attachment with email messages.
  • Broadcast voice messages to send to more than one person at the same time.
